Confession time: u probably didn’t notice but I spend a lot of time on Jamaa (Pls act shocked).
I get multiple comments under every post telling me to “touch grass or get a life”.

Here’s the thing, I’ve consciously decided to be a buhm. I spent my adulthood independent (not by choice) studying while working, sometimes two jobs, travelled around the world and the UK and socialised beyond my capacity.

I’ve touched enough grass alhamdullilah. In fact, I’ve touched grass on almost every continent that has it. This is my lazy era, I earned it and I’m sticking to it until I find my person or decide to move on.

Before telling me to get a life, be prepared to compare life achievements, experiences and grass touching history. I promise that conversation will humble one of us and it won’t be me.

The older I get, the more I realize that peace is more valuable than attention.
