Most people don't actually want a "perfect" partner they want someone who makes them feel safe enough to be imperfect but we spend so much time showing our best side on apps, on dates even after marriage talks start… that we forget to ask the real question: can I be tired, moody, boring or wrong in front of this person and still feel loved?
Imagine two people talking for weeks everything is sweet, funny, deep conversations at midnight then one day, the guy has a bad week, replies late sounds a bit dry. The girl feels ignored and starts pulling back too neither says what's actually wrong. Both just quietly lose interest, thinking "maybe this wasn't it," when really it was just... real life showing up for the first time.
We fall for the highlight reel then walk away the moment normal life appears.
