I've seen many post about woman here just asking money for gentleman... it's true but,
Not all woman here are looking for a sugar daddy or what.... Those woman are mostly the one who's just pretending to be a Muslim but showing too much skin, they aren't serious.... actually not just here in platform, I heard it a lot in person Arab/Muslim man are always gets tricked by those kinds of woman....
I wonder if there's also a Muslim woman that's been asked for money😅

Just be careful on who you are interacting to. Good luck, Allah bless us all with a wonderful partner/half Deen.

The guy who made his pfp into a woman showed us that women get spammed with low quality attention when they reveal their beauty. It had me thinking…

Ladies: assuming you didn’t know your larger than average following and engagement was due to you existing as a female on the internet, are you doing anything differently with this knowledge? Especially when the attention is 99% low quality?

Is all attention truly good attention, like the laws of social media decree?

Allah SWT’s greater trial to man is to lower his gaze and his greatest trial women is to cover herself.

This is because men are eager to look and women are eager to be looked at.

Some may say this isn’t true, both men and women have to cover, 💯, but that’s why there’s emphasis on man’s greatest trial and woman’s greatest trial.

Not to override Islam with science, however to back this up. There was a study done in 2009 which scanned men’s brains after they were shown images of women dressed in provocative clothing and these showed the activation of brain regions which associated objects or things you manipulate with your hands. The subjects remembered the bodies, not the faces most clearly. These results indicated that men tend to dehumanise or objectify women.

Side note, I am certain this is the driving factor behind how the media and the industry capitalises on women’s bodies and commodifies her.

Getting back to my point.

We don’t cover because men can’t control themselves or because they have a hard time lowering their gaze, not at all. We cover because Allah SWT, our creator has commanded us to cover. To wear the proper hijab. (I am no way saying, that I way the proper hijab, I try but I’m sure there’s more to be done).

In the Quran in Surah An-Nur 24:30
Allah SWT says, “O Prophet! Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do"

24:31
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments1 except what normally appears.”

The hijab was subscribed for every single believing woman. Mandatory to all once the age of puberty is reached.

I want to note that hijab wasn’t made mandatory for women with high iman, for married women, for virgin women. No, the hijab is for every single believing woman, even if you’re struggling, even if you sin. We all sin, there is no excuse. The hijab guards us, it protects us, there are so many benefits, but in the end we wear hijab because Allah tells us to.

Before Allah SWT even tells a woman to cover herself, he tells a man to lower his gaze and to guard his chastity. Modesty is to be fulfilled by both men and women.

The Muslim man must lower his gaze no matter what the woman in front of him looks like. She could be dressed provocatively, wear a bikini, wear hijab, wear niqab or wear a jilbab. It is irrelevant.

The Muslim man or the believing man, as Allah SWT refers to him is commanded to lower his gaze from any woman that is not halal to him.

Just because a Muslim woman, a believing woman has disobeyed Allahs command and decided not to wear the hijab for whatever reason. This does not give the believing man the right to look at her nor does it relieve him of his responsibility to follow Allahs command to lower his gaze.

Both men and women are tested in this duniya, the burden of responsibility is the same but different.

What’s beautiful is that Allah ends this verse 24:31 by saying “Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful.” Allah SWT addresses both men and women and tells us how to be successful and with success comes Jannah.

Our tests in this are duniya hard, challenging but what is a test of it’s not to challenge us, to see who is deserving of reward.

May Allah SWT grant both men and women ease in our tests, may he reward us, may he accept our dua’s and guide us.

Ameen

Jummah Mubarak to all.

BISMILLAH.

Have you ever seen a sticker of a Quranic verse on car mirror?

Ustaz reprimanded this matter because most people think that the purpose may be the intention to glorify the Quran. At least if people read, we ourselves will get a reward and the person who reads. It's not wrong, but behind that good intention, we not realizing there have of polluting the purity of the Quranic verse. Ustaz gave examples

  1. parking under a tree and birds poop on the Quranic verse.
  2. a cracked car mirror, in a non-Muslim workshop the workers threw away the mirror along with the sticker (which is difficult to remove) and placed it down on the floor. During the process of repairing the car mirror, they stepped on it. They were not wrong because they did not know because the workers were not Muslims. Similarly, Quranic verses are carved around graves. Sometimes people visiting graves sit on the verse.

This has been normalized by Malaysians. How is it in your country?

Wallahualam.
