Surah Al-Furqan 25:63 says that the true servants of Allah are humble people. They walk on the earth with calmness and dignity, not arrogance. And when ignorant, rude, or foolish people speak to them badly, they do not fight back in the same dirty way. They simply respond with peace and move on.

Surah Al-A‘raf 7:199 says: choose forgiveness, tell people to do what is right and decent, and stay away from ignorant people. Meaning, don’t waste your life arguing with people who are not interested in truth or maturity.

Surah Al-Qasas 28:55 says that when believers hear useless, insulting, or low-level talk, they turn away from it. They say, “Our actions are for us, and your actions are for you. Peace be upon you. We do not want to deal with ignorant people.” Basically, it teaches clean separation from toxic people without becoming toxic yourself.

Surah Fussilat 41:34 says that good and evil are not the same. When someone behaves badly, respond with something better. If you handle hostility with patience, wisdom, and goodness, even someone who was against you may become close like a friend.

Surah Al-Mu’minun 23:96 says: push away evil with the best possible response. Allah knows very well what people say and accuse you of, so don’t lose your character trying to answer every stupid comment.

Surah Al-Muzzammil 73:10 says: be patient with what people say, and leave them in a graceful way. Meaning, don’t storm off with anger or drama. Distance yourself with dignity, silence, and self-respect.
