Most people here have very little literacy. They don’t properly read the bio of the person they like or match with.
They already know that I am from a different country. The issue is not the language — many of them are willing to teach me English. But when the taaruf process begins, they start talking about the difficulties or problems of their own country. They say it would be difficult to bring me to their country, but they don’t offer any middle ground or solution.
They say someone like me is very rare, but they don’t strive to pursue or keep someone like me.
It is quite amusing — a waste of time, but there are many lessons and wisdom behind every experience.
I believe that Allah’s decree is always the best. I will continue to remain steadfast and patient.
I know we’re all praising sisters who wear hijab in this heat, alhamdulillah for your understanding of this obligation but I can’t help think of the elderly like our mums and grandparents. As for non Muslims, no amount of nakedness is gonna actually cool you down in heat like this 🥵😆
