Who is actually prepared to die alone? Single and childless.

Have been thinking a lot about it recently. The main reason I haven’t gotten married is zina - in that every woman I’ve liked have all committed. And unfortunately the very few women I’ve spoken to who haven’t there was just 0 attraction even if really tried to will it.

But truth be told, I know I’d never be happy with a woman who put out before marriage. It will always be there and it would grow in to resentment. Hence I don’t pursue things.

But having just hit 40 I know that the realistic chances of meeting someone who is attractive that hasn’t got a past is virtually minimal.

I’d go 20 years younger but most women won’t go that much older - I’ve found most girls are losing their V plates at uni. That’s where the damage is done, so go figure.

But deep down we all know what we can and can’t accept and I think I’ve begun to start making my peace in terms of staying single forever.

Hard prospect to face when I was hopeful for so long.

Alhumdullilah I’m actually really happy that this world is only temporary. The prophet pbuh said that for the true believer this world will feel like a prison, and truth be told that’s how I’ve been feeling for a good while!

In’shaa’Allah may the akhira bring to us that which is better, above and beyond what we could not attain in the dunya.

I got very unfortunate and crossed paths with someone.. i don’t even have the words to describe them it’s just sick. we spoke for about a week and i cut all contact with him recently. He lusted after women and when he didn’t get what he wanted he disrespected them. I’ve been getting proposals for marriage and i’m not accepting them because i’m traumatized from this last guy. And i don’t want to hurt someone’s son. Long story short, it started out normal and then he started saying intimate things no filter at all. Talking about imaging us in certain positions and sending me deep voice messages moaning my name and had praised himself with being someone who went to umrah every year and talked a lot about being very religious. And when i set boundaries he guilt tripped me by saying things like i imagined u as my wife and things like he has a high *** drive and he’s a man so it’s normal. Just putting this out there for anyone wth advice who went through a similar experience. And for anyone that might be in a similar situation, RUN.
