A marriage conducted without the free consent of both the bride and the groom is not valid in Islam. If parents force their son or daughter into a marriage against their will, the person has the right to reject that marriage.
Today, many families focus on questions like: "Does the groom own a house? Does he have a successful business? Is he wealthy?" Marriages are often arranged based on these worldly standards, yet many couples still do not find peace and happiness afterward.
Instead, we should first ask: Does the bride or groom sincerely follow the teachings, rules, and values of Islam? Good character, faith, and obedience to Allah are far more important than wealth or status.
Unfortunately, in today's generation, many people are influenced by the glamorous lifestyle they see on social media and in short videos, chasing the attractions of this dunya instead of giving priority to deen.

Hi Everyone!! So It’s been 3 weeks since I joined this app, and honestly, all i have experienced is disappointment.
Most boys here don’t even seem to have basic conversation ethics. Without knowing a single thing about the other person—who they are, what they do, or what their values are—the very first question is usually, “Can I see you?” or “Reveal your photos.”
Seriously, are you here to find a life partner or just to collect pictures?
What’s even more disappointing is that some boys start using pickup lines or make inappropriate comments after seeing photos. If you’re genuinely here for a rishta, learn to have a respectful conversation first. A person’s character, values, and compatibility should matter more than their pictures.
It’s honestly frustrating to see that even educated boys can lack basic manners and conversation etiquette.
Really disappointed.
