Salam,
I am someone with autism. It doesn't impact me drastically, but it is there and has consequences when trying to connect from miscommunication to missing signals, especially when it comes to ambiguity. I am trying my best to pick up on things amd learn, but it feels that people don't give others a chance enough to get past the early bumps in understanding (especially over text without tone or inflection).
I am wondering if disclosing it it a good idea or if it will more likely have negative consequences. Also, if anyone has advice how to manage or navigate then I would appreciate it.
(I am getting better, but still run into problems especially when others dont communicate the issue and just assume).
PS. I am a guy.
