Assalam O Alaikum.

A man's first mission is to build himself. Get in shape. Become financially stable. Not to impress the world, but to fulfill his responsibility towards ALLAH, provide for his parents, support his family, and then take care of himself. A man without responsibility is just a grown boy.

A woman's honor lies in embracing her femininity and fulfilling the role Allah Almighty has assigned her. Her responsibility is to make a house feel like Jannah on earth, nurture the family, and respect and obey her husband within the limits set by Islam.

Men and women are not enemies. They were never created to compete with each other. They were created to complete each other. A man leads and provides. A woman nurtures and supports. Together they build a family, and strong families build strong nations.

In my view, many Muslim societies have weakened because they have adopted Western ideologies that encourage men and women to compete instead of cooperate. The result is increasing gender based hostility, broken families, and people seeing each other as rivals instead of teammates. We have been taught to fight each other when we should be standing together, fulfilling our responsibilities, and growing as one.

Strong men. Feminine women. Strong families. Strong Ummah.

I am talking to someone, who’s perfect on paper (stable job, has children, Canadian, religious). He thinks I am "gorgeous" when we met in person and accused me of that I put an old photo on my profile. (I am over 40, I might look good someday but other day tired. I don't put makeup). He used to text a lot but now I have to wait over a day. Now he already asking for another date, but I am tired of the smooth compliments. I want the real talk. Is he busy, or is he auditioning others while I wait?

Should I keep digging for his life plans or unmatch? What should I do, people?

If you hurt someone who sincerely cared for you for the sake of Allah, and they still respond with kindness and adab… understand this: you didn’t just lose a person — you lost something rare.

You lost someone who chose sabr over revenge, who made du‘ā for you instead of exposing you, who saw your flaws yet hoped Allah would guide you.

Most people, when hurt, walk away, cut ties, and close their hearts. Once trust is broken, they leave as if nothing ever existed.

But there are hearts different from the rest…

Hearts that still care even when wounded. Hearts that forgive for the sake of Allah, not because they are weak, but because they seek peace over pride. Their love is not attached to perfection, but to sincerity.

They stay, even when they have every reason to leave.

And many only realize the value of such a soul when it is already gone.

In a time where الجميع يرحل بسهولة (everyone leaves easily)…
the one who stays with ihsān is rare.
