What is wrong with so many men on these apps?
If a man is truly serious about marrying you,why would he immediately resort to being disrespectful,bringing up inappropriate topics, and making you feel uncomfortable?
Let’s be clear,when a man shifts the conversation there before even speaking to your family or establishing a respectful foundation,he is revealing his true intentions. It shows his interest isn't in building a holy union,it’s just short-term desire. It’s incredibly disappointing to see how many men talk a big game about wanting a wife, but their actions show zero reverence for what marriage actually means in Islam.
To the sisters experiencing this, do not lower your standards. Your discomfort is your haya warning you. Listen to it.A man who truly wants you for the sake of Allah will approach you with the utmost respect. He will want to do things the right way, the Halal way.
As Allah tells us in the Qur'an regarding the standard of righteous men and women,
"Corrupt women are for corrupt men,and corrupt men are for corrupt women,as good women are for good men, and good men are for good women"
Surah An-Nur
And remember how Allah describes the believers who are successful,
"And those who guard their chastity."
Surah Al-Mu'minun [23:5]
If he cannot guard his tongue or his intentions while trying to win your heart,he is not equipped to be the protector and maintainer Allah commands a husband to be.
Don't let the low standards of these apps make you compromise yours. The right one will respect your boundaries, because he respects Allah.
