A lot of people think that if a man cooks, cleans, helps around the house, or takes care of the kids, he's somehow less of a man.
Says who?
Culture... not Islam.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ helped around the house and served his family. I don't understand why some men act like cooking or helping around the house makes them less of a man when the Prophet ﷺ himself did those things.
Honestly, I enjoy cooking. It clears my mind, it's relaxing, and I like making food for the people I care about. I don't see how that makes someone less of a man.
Marriage isn't supposed to be, "I work, so everything else is your job." Some days I'll be exhausted. Some days she'll be exhausted. The whole point is to make life easier for each other and help one another for the sake of Allah.
