Recently I had a conversation with someone whose values, character, and way of thinking I genuinely admired.
For a brief moment I thought our paths might be leading in the same direction.
But with honesty and sincerity, he felt we may not be the right fit and chose to be clear rather than create false expectations.
I am not mentioning his identity out of respect for his privacy, but I hope he somehow reads this.
It reminded me that not every good person is meant to be part of our journey.
Sometimes Allah allows us to meet people simply to restore our faith in good character, sincerity, and respectful communication.
And even when paths part ways, there can still be respect, gratitude, and a sincere dua for one another.
Trusting Allah's plan is not always easy, but it is always worth it.
