One thing that surprised me about this app is the # of “likes” I’ve gotten from guys who are multiple years younger than me.

Regardless of what culture or society says, I guess I just assumed having a 4-5 year age gap in your 20s (where the girl is older) would generally be undesireable for most people as there would potentially be a bigger difference in maturity vs experiencing a similar age gap for people who are 30+…but obviously my recent experience on this app says otherwise.

Curious what others think.

For the guys in their 20s: what would interest you to consider a girl who’s several years older?

For the girls in their 20s: would you consider a guy who could be up to 5 yearss younger than you? Would there be a concern that you two are in different stages of life?

What is happening here? Men/Guys say we haven't found a match yet, No Women/Girls are genuinely serious., Women/Girls say we haven't found a match yet, No Men/Guys are genuinely serious... What I think is that the expectations on both the sides are really high on this platform or people are just here for time-pass or just trying the app, and in the end they are going to marry someone of their family's choice. Come on make it easy and go for the right person, not every one gets a romantic movie story. This is real life!
